"If I were to introduce myself, I would say that.... I'm the woman who conquered death and lived to tell the story.
I'm Sormistha Mukherjee and I hail from a family of repute (kolkata) a thrice brain tumour surgery survivor, a former journalist who had worked with some of the best media houses and single mother to 2 wonderful kids.
But my identity is first and foremost is of a woman who has dedicated her life in the service of the needy. I'm a social activist for 30 years and currently Pesident of a reputed non profitable organisation. I'm glad to be a part of this event as I feel I have a lot to bring to the table and be able to tell my story. Thank you for giving me the opportunity."
