Coming from a small town in Karnataka state Arsikere Hassan District,where no facilities to learn anything and no internet those days.
Got Married and settled in Dubai for the last 25 years and now from last three years relocated and staying in Bangalore. In these years, have hosted quite few lunches and dinners to the family and friends. Dubai being a international hub for all multinational cuisine got an opportunity to explore may different countries cultural and traditional cuisine.
Couple of years back I started participating in local competitions which gave me a fair exposure and few awards as well. To a good extent, I can call myself an Chef and I specialize in Indian and international cuisine. Love to make briyanis, nihari, chicken and meat dishes. Recently I started working on fusion of Arabic and Indian cuisine which won accolades in couple of competitions.
Going forward I would like to use my skills in imparting my learnings and developing new techniques of cooking.
I have started Conducting Cooking classes in Bangalore.
Got twice an opportunity to judge at cooking competition.
I am listing few of my achievements below, but still my biggest achievement being able to cook the best for my husband and two sons.
Achievements:
1.Participated twice in FOODSHALA the biggest Middle East cooking competition. Was selected in top 24 the first time and in top 12 the second time. It was a proud moment to be on ZEE TV on air.
2. Winner of MasterChef Masterstroke
This was my precious moment when I received a Chef Coat from
MasterChef RIPU DAMAN HANDA
Got an opportunity to do Live Cooking in Oberoi Hotel in front of
Public.
3. Runner up in MasterChef Masterstroke with MasterChef
Shipra Khanna.
4. Winner of Cook off kitchen killadi cooking show in Media One TV
5. Runner up in Grandmas Competition in Mumtaz Mahal in Arabian
Coutyard.
6. Winner of CRUNCH AND MUNCH cooking Competition.
7. Finalist in Perfect Chai Making Competition and came second place
